India is the first country to establish a ministry exclusively for renewable and alternative energy sources worldwide.

An efficient renewable energy network, however, requires a network solution that allows for large-scale integration into the grid. Based on satellite communication, the VSAT system is ideal for real-time data transfer from various remote locations, such as remote power generating sites, substations, and control centers for central processing. VSATs provide a considerably easier choice in deployment time, stability, service consistency in faraway regions, flexibility, and cost-effective scaling than terrestrial networks.
